I’ve heard that you must eat within 30 minutes after exercising or you’ll lose muscle gains. Sometimes my schedule doesn’t allow me to eat right away after workouts. Is the so-called “anabolic window” really that important?

The idea that you must eat immediately after exercise is often overstated. Total daily nutrition is generally more important than eating within a specific 30-minute window.
Aim to:
- Consume adequate protein throughout the day
- Eat a balanced meal within a reasonable time after exercise
- Mantenha-se hidratado
For most recreational exercisers, consistency in overall nutrition matters far more than exact meal timing.
