Why am I bloated every time I eat even when I am eating clean foods like broccoli and brown rice? 🙏

If you’re bloated after every meal — even “clean” foods like broccoli and brown rice — the issue usually isn’t food quality, it’s fermentation and digestion speed.
Broccoli is high in FODMAPs and sulfur compounds, which ferment in the gut and produce gas. Brown rice contains more fiber and bran, which slows digestion and can feel heavy if your gut is sensitive. Eating “healthy” doesn’t mean “easy to digest.”
Common causes:
- Excess fiber too quickly
- Eating fast / swallowing air
- Low stomach acid or sluggish digestion
- Gut sensitivity (IBS-type response)
- Stress while eating (sympathetic dominance impairs digestion)
If you’re also having burning or irregular stools (like you mentioned earlier), your gut may be temporarily irritated — and high-fiber foods can worsen bloating during that phase.
Quick test:
Try 3–5 days of low-fiber, simple foods (white rice, well-cooked vegetables, curd/yogurt if tolerated, eggs) and eat slowly. If bloating improves, it’s likely fermentation-related, not “toxins.”
Bloating after every meal isn’t normal long-term — but it’s very common when digestion is inflamed or overstimulated.
