I work long hours on a computer and recently started experiencing pain in my lower back and neck. The discomfort increases when I sit for several hours continuously. Could posture alone cause this kind of pain or should I be concerned about spinal issues?
Extended hours at a computer workstation can place continuous stress on the lower back and cervical spine, particularly if posture is not supported properly. Poor ergonomic setup, lack of movement and weak core muscles frequently contribute to these symptoms. Adjusting chair height, screen position and incorporating short movement breaks can significantly reduce strain.
