For the last few weeks I’ve been waking up with stiffness around my neck and shoulders. It usually improves later in the day but comes back the next morning. I recently changed pillows and also spend a lot of time working on my laptop in bed. Could these habits be causing the problem?

Yes, poor sleeping posture, unsuitable pillows, and awkward working positions can strain neck and shoulder muscles.
You can try:
- Using a supportive pillow
- Avoiding laptop work in bed
- Stretching gently during the day
- Improving workstation posture
Persistent pain, numbness, or headaches may need medical assessment.
