I usually have about 45 minutes to exercise each day. My goal is to lose body fat while maintaining muscle. Some people tell me to do cardio first, while others say strength training should come first. Which approach is generally better?
For most people whose goal is fat loss while preserving muscle, strength training first is often recommended.
Reasons include:

You can follow strength training with moderate cardio. Ultimately, consistency matters more than exercise order.
