“Player of an impressive season in the jersey of KRC Genk, the Lion of the Atlas Bilal El Khannouss received the prize for best player of the season, this Monday, May 20.“

Before the kick-off of the last match of the season in the Pro League against Antwerp (1-0), the Moroccan international received the award for best player of the season from KRC Genk, to thunderous applause from the supporters.

An indisputable starter with Genk, he played a total of 49 matches this season in all competitions: 35 matches in the Belgian league, 12 matches in European competition and two matches in the Croky Cup.

Furthermore, the 19-year-old midfielder inherited the Best Beginner Award in the Belgian Pro League in 2023, in addition to the Hope of the Year Award in Belgium.
