I keep getting mouth ulcers almost every 2–3 weeks. I don’t eat spicy outside food much. Could this be due to some deficiency or stomach issue?
Recurrent mouth ulcers are often linked to nutritional deficiencies, particularly vitamin B12, iron, or folic acid. However, factors like stress, acidity, or minor trauma from brushing can also contribute. Even if your diet looks healthy, it may still lack certain micronutrients. Including green leafy vegetables, citrus fruits, and adequate hydration can help. If ulcers are frequent, painful, or slow to heal, it’s better to consult a doctor and consider basic blood tests.
