I recently became very motivated to lose weight and have been exercising daily without taking breaks. Some days I do cardio and other days strength training. But now I feel unusually tired, sore, and less energetic during workouts. Could exercising too much slow down progress?

Yes, recovery is essential for fitness progress. Overtraining without adequate rest can lead to fatigue, reduced performance, poor sleep, irritability, and increased injury risk.
Rest days help:
- Muscles recover and grow
- Energy levels improve
- Hormones regulate properly
You don’t necessarily need complete inactivity, but lighter recovery days with walking, stretching, or yoga can be beneficial.
